fantastic riverside retreat!
easy trips spa access swimming pool
trips to nearby attractions are easy. oxford boat race training happens right on the river near the hotel. i loved the spa and swimming pool (great!).
the bath towels felt a little rough, not as plush as i expected.

illuminated building spacious room indoor pool high rate security tag cheap feeling
the lawns lead down to the river. i saw the main building illuminated at night. the room i booked was spacious. i appreciated the indoor pool.
the rate varied each day. on saturday the rate for our room was over £400 excluding breakfast. it felt very cheap to see towels with security tag labels..

amazing experience!
amazing room friendly team
the hotel look and feel were fantastic. the location right by the thames is just great. i could have sat all day watching the world go by, i didn't need any other entertainment. the team at the hotel were great, friendly, and attentive.
The breakfast on the day of checkout was not great. i arrived at 10am and got frosty looks. Maybe breakfast ended at 10am. my eggs were runny and the service was poor. This was awful for the price i paid.

thames location attentive team unclean toilets overall disappointment
The location by the Thames is great. I could have sat all day watching the world go by, I didn't need any other entertainment. The team was great, friendly, and attentive, they remembered what drinks we were having. They were always available to help out.
I was disappointed with my visit to the river house. The toilets were unclean, and I had to mention it. I felt grubby everywhere.
